I started with the dvds (actually vhs) and when these cd's came out, I bought them immediately! Although the poses themselves are not that difficult, this practice is definately challenging. He seriously only does sun salutations A & B, triangle- small active rest, then reversed triangle-followed by another active rest, bow pose, then he takes you to a shoulder stand & plough, finally savasana. In a normal class, this practice might run you 45-50 minutes. But Bryans unique teaching and chatter makes the difference. Prepare to sweat! Although this cd is for all levels, please have some knowledge of the poses before you start. It'll help you more than the booklet! Enjoy!! Rating: 5 Submitted: 5/28/2007 1) Challenging, Refreshing, & Fun Love Bryan Kest's style!! I have several of his cd/booklet pkgs and love them all. This one starts with several sun saultations to warm you up, then takes you through a challenging standing series. About the time you think your legs are DONE, he brings you to the floor to give them a short respite. None of the postures are necessarily that difficult, but Bryan holds postures and sequences them to challenge you. When I finished this cd the first time, I was worn out, but feeling GOOD! He never lets you forget the importance of your breath or what yoga is really all about. But, he'll work you to your edge and make you love it. He has a raw, earthy, real personality and style that's unique. He's not your usual soft-spoken teacher......he's pretty direct. And I love it!!! He has me sweating AND laughing out loud at times.
